Introduction to the Business English Wiki and LEA

Under the above-mentioned URL, the Language Centre has set up a course wiki accompanying the course Business English. On this password-protected wiki, all students registered for the course have online access to the course material, including all audio and video files used for homework and class work.

Please check your university email account for the following invitation:

When you follow the link “Log in here” you will be directed to the following webpage to set up your PBworks account:

  1. Type in your username.
  2. Create your own password and confirm it.
  3. Feel free to change the workspace settings (e.g. email notifications, user information, profile picture etc.) at your convenience. 

 

If you change your user information, please don’t use any nicknames but only your full name, so that we know who you are!

 

 

 

 

What to do if you didn’t get an invitation
 
  1. Check to make sure that your email account is not over quota.
  2. Please contact the E-Tutor at the Language Centre as soon as possible: Support 

 

What to do if you can’t log in.

  1. Check that you have spelled your username / email address correctly. Please note that PBworks doesn’t recognize email aliases, i.e. you will have to use the email address under which you have been invited to join the workspace (see email invitation above).
  2. Check that you are using the correct password. If you have forgotten your password, you can simply request a new one.

Hilfe zum Login (für Studierende)


 

 

Studierende der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg erhalten automatisch einen Zugang zu LEA. Der Login wird jedoch erst mit der einmaligen persönlichen Anmeldung in der Bibliothek freigeschaltet. Nach der Anmeldung in der Bibliothek setzt sich der LEA-Login aus demSIS-Benutzernamen sowie dem Bibliothekspasswort zusammen.

 

Ihr SIS-Benutzername setzt sich aus einem Buchstaben des Vornamens und fünf Buchstaben des Nachnamens gefolgt von Ihrem Fachbereich zusammen.

 

Bsp.: mmuste1s [ m = Max | muste = Mustermann | 1s = Fachbereich 01 ]
